We all know the rush of anticipation and excitement when you first step into an escape room, curious at how the story will unfold.

Each escape room tells a different story. Whether you find yourself submerged underwater or stranded in a jungle, the beauty of VR gaming for you, the owner, is that it provides ever-evolving stories and puzzles that give you more opportunities to bring families and friends together. 

How do we communicate the wonder people feel when they first watch a dragon soar overhead? The awe in a guest's face when they witness their friend finally crack the safe code and pull out a crown?  How do we take that personal group experience inside the headset and translate it into promotion to people who haven’t done it yet?

Meta’s Connect Keynote (formerly Oculus Connect Keynote) wrapped-up on October 11, boasting a broad range of intriguing announcements and updates. Among the Metaverse and software-related news was the official unveiling of the Meta Quest Pro; a premium, socially-focused VR headset with exciting new features that launched October 25th. 

As Technology Evolves, So Must Modern Entertainment Businesses

Facing the pandemic, escape rooms have had to innovate and change the way they provide entertainment and value to their clients. Not being able to be physically open to the public has, for many, been the hardest part of all.

With restrictions lifting in many areas, it is time for some optimism — but let's look at what some escape rooms have been doing to make it through these hard times and see what we can learn for the future.
